In this first report for 2019, we consider the challenge faced in finding the ideal fit between senior mining leaders and organisational culture.
In his near three-month research project, we collected data through nearly 150 scientific behavioural assessments, and almost 200 surveys, of COOs/Operational VP’s and General Managers, across nearly 140 organisations globally. In writing our report and recommendations, we also applied data and the insights from our years in managing mining executive search and recruitment assignments globally.
The report highlights the behavioural profiles that are currently most commonly found in leaders and considers their fitness for the future. Our findings have implications for recruitment, personal development and coaching, succession planning and talent management.
The report concludes with a ‘Lessons for Leaders’ summary.
