Here’s a look at our initiatives for May.
👉 Donated $1500 to provide emergency relief support in Ukraine
We continue to support the efforts of Direct Relief, a B1G1 partnership.
They work closely with Ukraine’s Ministry of Health and regional partners to provide vital medical aid to the people of Ukraine. This includes oxygen concentrators and critical care medicines.
👉 1471 days of access to sanitary material and medical services
Only 7% of Ethiopia’s population has access to basic sanitary materials. The School of St. Yared gives talented impoverished children from the poorest communities in Addis Ababa access to:
Yearly health check
Dental check-up
Eye exam
Essential sanitary products, a bar of soap, and sanitary pads for females.
Many of these students go on to become agents of change. If you’d like to learn more about the School of St. Yard, we’ve included a link to their website in the comments section.
👉 Gave 939 nourishing meals to people in need in South Africa
1 in 4 South African children is stunted due to malnutrition.
Malnutrition affects their early development, impacting physical and brain development and cognitive and learning abilities.
With the help of social workers, we identified families in need and were able to provide 939 nourishing meals.
If you’d like to support these causes, get in touch with us. We’d be happy to share more information about our Giving Partnerships.
